Today, we are going to talk about one of the most effective natural skin care ingredients, and that is SHEA BUTTER. Let us review first what is Shea Butter and where it came from. I will give you some noted review first before proceeding to the benefits we acquired in using Shea Butter.


Shea butter is one of the most popular Natural Beauty Skin Care products. It performs miracle in some cases. It is also known as Karite butter, a slightly yellowish fatty substance removed from the nut of the Shea tree that grows in the Savannah Regions of  West and Central Africa.

2. Refined- processed with natural components present.

3. Highly refined- highly processed with solvent to increase the yield; pure white.

For me, the highly processed Shea Butter is not really that effective compare to raw unrefined because it is mixed with the other substances after extraction that may reduce its benefits. Personally, I prefer pure raw, no chemical added. It is just manually removed and extracted while others are mechanically extracted to lessen the odor.
